Payment & Pricing
Why do you require a 60% deposit?
Custom pieces start with us purchasing your specific diamond or gemstone and committing our jewelers’ time — costs we incur before your piece is finished. The 60% deposit covers stone sourcing and production upfront; the remaining 40% is due only once your piece is complete and you’ve approved it, before it ships or you pick it up.
When exactly is the deposit charged?
Only after you’ve approved your final 3D render and design — never before. Nothing is charged during the initial consultation or design phase.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept e-Transfer and PayPal for both your deposit and final balance. Your designer sends a secure payment request at each stage.
How do you actually beat local retail prices by 25%?
By removing the layers a traditional jewelry store marks up for: showroom rent, sales commissions, and wholesale-to-retail markup on stones. We source directly and craft in-house, so you’re paying for the stone and the craftsmanship — not the overhead.
Stones & Quality
Where do your diamonds and gemstones come from?
We source directly from vetted diamond cutters, gemstone suppliers, and ethical mining partners — cutting out the wholesale distributors traditional stores buy through. Every diamond is conflict-free and traceable.
Are your diamonds certified?
Diamonds above a set carat threshold come with GIA or AGS certification confirming cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
What’s your quality guarantee?
Our standard warranty covers manufacturing issues at no cost — for example, if a stone becomes loose or falls out due to how it was crafted, we repair it free. General wear-and-tear or accidental damage is the client’s responsibility, though every piece is eligible for an Extended Warranty — roughly 15% of the purchase price, scoped to what you’d like covered.
Can I use moissanite or a lab-grown diamond instead?
Absolutely. We source natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, and a full range of gemstones — whatever fits your vision and budget.
Process & Timeline
How long does the whole process take?
Most custom pieces take about 6–8 weeks from final design approval to completion, depending on the complexity of the design and stone sourcing.
What if I don’t have a clear idea yet — just a general feeling?
That’s most of our clients. Upload anything — a color you love, a ring you saw on someone else, a single Pinterest pin — and our designers will build concepts from there.
Do you offer local pickup, or is everything shipped?
Yes — local pickup is available at our Fort Macleod, Southern Alberta location. For clients outside the area, we offer fully insured shipping nationwide.
